GED-i Superior Solution
The superior model is based on two appliances. The GSA 2000-EE is the encryption engine, whilst the GKS 2000 supports all required key server capabilities including Key Management, automatic high availability, connection to several GSA 2000-EE's at the same time and other important functions.
This configuration provides security to two independent storage units utilizing two dedicated GSA 2000 units and a single GKS 2000.
For each storage unit, the stored data security is based on GED-i's advanced implementation of a 3-layer security model running on the GSA 2000. The advanced standalone Key Server (GKS 2000) ensures a physical gap between the encryption engine and the keys database. The separation of the GSA 2000 and GKS 2000 into two standalone units (Physical Gap) increases the solution immunity to any threats. The GEM 2000 is used to manage, configure and monitor the entire deployment.
A high availability "active to active" configuration is also an option.
This configuration provides security to a single storage unit with a High Availability configuration utilizing two GSA 2000's and a single GKS 2000. In case of failure of one of the GSA units the service continues uninterrupted through the second live GSA 2000. During normal operation both units can be used to transfer data to the storage device in parallel.
The stored data security is based on GED-i's advanced implementation of AES 256 together with the company's patent-pending data restructuring and interference, all running on the GSA 2000. The advanced standalone Key Server (GKS 2000) ensures a physical gap between the encryption engine and the keys database. The separation of the GSA 2000 and GKS 2000 into two standalone units (Physical Gap) increases the solution's immunity to any threats. The GEM 2000 is used to manage, configure and monitor the entire deployment.
